Mary
Beth is committed to education that supports the growth and development
of the true greatness that lies within every human being. She
is also a passionate advocate of life sustaining relationships with
each other and the Earth.She has been involved in the field of education
for over 35 years, with a focus on holistic education for close
to 18 years.. She is a founding Director of Four Winds, Inc.,
a nonprofit educational organization formed about 15 years ago to
bring holistic practices to the community. Currently that work is
being done through the Living Learning Collaborative and as a community
volunteer in the local schools. In addition to her passion
for education, MaryBeth works in the community to help evolve the
ways we live using dialogue, and through her interests and training
in agriculture and nutrition, serving as the Berkshire County Chapter
Leader of the Weston A. Price Foundation. She has degrees
in Biochemistry (B.A.), Chemistry (Ph.D.) and extensive training
in personal development, community organizing and change, dialogue,
culinary arts and nutrition, gardening and the arts. MaryBeth
is a recent graduate of the The Berkshire Leadership Program, a
project of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce. She
looks forward to meeting you and collaborating for the common good!
